Legoland

We took a trip to Legoland over Thanksgiving. It was pretty awesome. The hotel was half the fun (okay, probably like 17.3%)

They had thousands and thousands of bricks in these open Bins that you could just build with. This is supposed to be a "G", but I usually see the "F" first. I think this should be Faith's superhero logo personally.

This fun Hat was hanging in our bathroom
I'm not sure, but we appear to be in a desert. With Scorpions.
And Parrots and Rats wearing headgear.

Ah! a spider. and a monkey. But not a spider monkey.
Luckily Suzy isn't an old lady, and thus did not swallow this.

One wonders if Santa comes to visit every Christmas, and if he is just stored away or rebuilt.
Only two reindeer? What kind of Lazy is that. I don't care if it takes a week per reindeer, I want all 8!
Oh Sad, I got eaten by a shark.
Some kids got Balloons.
Other kids want you to notice that the trees are full of "snow"
Super fun Airplane ride! A nice guy went with Jace since Dad doesn't do rides that go in Circles.
And a nice lady went with Brighton.
Wait, is that Singapore?

Here's the Singapore flyer
Anyone up for a match on the pitch? (Look how well my vernacular is adapting. Colour. Theatre.)
What the Taj Mahal!
 More Pictures of our Hotel
Don't come in, there are snakes on the ground here

Yes, the Elevator had Disco music and a disco ball.
Here were some of the thousands of legos.
I swear the kids would have spent hours here in the lobby.
Not to mention the adults.
Here was a ride where those standing on the side could squirt those going by.
What, this lego guy made food? I can't believe it.
This was called "Jr Driving School".  3-5yr olds could drive around this track 4 at a time, running into each other and getting stuck. It was pretty fun, they wanted to do this one several times.
Turns out Brighton has a knack and did well right out of the gate.

It's much more fun in the belly of a shark when you have a friend.
Giddy up camel
 Ride like an Egyptian

 See Sister do, do also
Some grape super hero maybe?
The scale of some of these creations was incredible.
A "Gragon" as Brighton calls it.
This is one Jace and Brighton could both do (we were somewhat limited on rides for the little ones).
It started pouring rain in the middle of their ride.
Brighton had fun anyway.

This was a cool area where you could test the stability of structures. The platforms would move back and forth. Brighton really liked this one a lot.

They had this awesome robotics lab where you could use module based programming to make the robot move and do certain actions. It had to go to different stations and perform certain actions. The girls took turns programming and building the right attachments on the robot.

Here was the screen for programming

They had these cool star wars settings.
Jace is making "Pew, Pew" noises here.
now he's pretending to hold a light sabar. He was pretty into this one.

You could spend days there and never get tired of it, I believe. So much to see and do.
