Suzy went through Jace's backpack (which he packed himself, and verified was ready to go). This is what she found for our 4 day trip:
shin guards,
back massager,
5 pairs of underwear,
4 socks, no shoes,
2 pairs of flipflops 2 sizes too large (for when he's older),
dinosaur flash cards,
a church shirt
1 pair of plaid shorts.
2 Sets of PJs.
I think he learned how to pack from his dad.

Jurong Bird Park
We went to the Bird Park on Saturday. I thought the entrance was pretty cool looking.
Jace was helpfully flapping his arms so everyone would know this was the Bird Park.
Brighton was having a good old time. Lots of people took pictures with our kids, I'll try to post the video later in the post I took of random people getting super excited to get a picture with some "Fairs".
We did lots of "bothies"
I thought Jace's face was particularly nice in this one.
They had these birds doing all sorts of cool tricks.
Notice who is holding the Hoop for the bird to fly through...
This guy was an awesome announcer guy.
At the end, they brought a bunch of birds out and you could go up on stage with them if you wanted to.
He has Crimson underparts, haha. What is a Scheepmaker? I think that someone misspelled sheep.
I learned that this bird is actually demonic. You can tell by the creepy red eyes.
I thought it was cute how Faith's hair matched the birds.
And Kate's...
I actually think Kate is more colorful than this peacock we saw horsing around.
Pretty bird, pretty bird
Kate working it with the "Lories"
An Ostrich!
This is not a climbing tree.
Cute Girls
Personally, I think "Lesser Whistling Duck" is such a great name for a bird. We should name all birds like this, maybe "slightly larger than a duck, and makes noises like a robin".
Dennis Rodman Hair
Faith got some Hair Chalk for Christmas. A couple of days ago, she finally put it to good use.
Jace sure felt tough with his mohawk and colored hair.
Faith went for 2 days without showering so that she could keep
If you recall Dennis Rodman (post-Pistons of course, he was classy when he was with the Pistons), I think he could take some inspiration from Jace.

Monkeying around
So, we recently went to the "Monkey Park" as it's affectionately known. Its actual name is Woodlands Waterfront Park. Suzy and the kids went there previously, but didn't have much luck finding the monkeys. However, she learned the secret and now we were determined to hunt them down (figuratively, not really hunting them as that would be illegal. And gross, who wants to eat Monkey meat? Although having a stuffed monkey would be pretty cool. Especially if we have guests and sneakily hide it in the closet so they get scared half to death at some point).
Who doesn't love a cute little monkey?
At least until it decides it wants your dress and tries to take it from you. Lesson #1, don't dress like a fruit when visiting monkeys.
This monkey was having a great time grooming the smaller one.
Here's the playground portion of the park. Its pretty awesome.
A Dress is the perfect attire for climbing and bridges! While we were there, a bunch of teenagers (maybe 20 year olds, I can't tell anymore, a sure sign I'm too old) were climbing around. One lost his flip flops, it was pretty funny.

Breakfast Art at the Aquarium
We recently went to the aquarium in Sentosa (Island where Universal Studios is). We ate lunch at the pancake house where you get to make your own pancake creations using squirt bottles of pancake batter. We have some pretty awesome artists in the family for sure.
Super Suzy and All-Star Kate going to work
Angry man pancake needs to be eaten.
A Christmas hat, and a special angry bird that didn't turn out quite as expected.
Butterfly and octopus bug?
Hersey's kiss and a hand.
Half the fun was in creating them, the other half in eating them. That's chocolate batter, not burned pancakes by the way.
Who can resist having there picture taken in these fun cutout thingamagiggers
Here was my creepy friend Harold*
*names have been changed to protect the innocent
Kate obviously has the right idea here. Don't know why Jace and Brighton aren't freaking out.
They had a ton of these tanks with lots and lots of fish. Lots of cool fish, especially "Dory" from finding Nemo. Jace would get pretty excited everytime he saw a "Dory" fish.
Jace showing off his mad skills "Dad, take my picture".
This was at Universal on the meri-go-round the other week.
Jace knows how to pose for pictures. I did not tell him to do that by the way, apparently kids do pick up stuff by osmosis.

Tornado of FIRE
I got your attention with that post title I bet. We went to the Science center where they have a fire tornado, as pictured. It was pretty amazing. From there we went to the Civil Service Club where we have a membership, ordered pizza and went Swimming.
This science center ( actually it's centre, but we all know that's the wrong way to spell it) comes with Massage chairs. I needed to test out that exhibit for science purposes.
Singapore Science has advanced to the point where they can separate your head from your body.

Here's the kids playing in the wave pool. They have a lazy river, a 3 story water slide, a kids pool and a regular pool I think Kate has bled every time we've gone. A head wound from hitting her head on a bridge, she fell on the steps this time. They delivered Pizza to our picnic table at the pool. The "regular" size is about 6 inches I learned.

What's grosser than gross
So Jace and his little friend Calvin (who is 5) were upstairs "exercising". Which, for boys means you "have to" take your shirt off. So, what comes next? Kissing your biceps of course. Which somehow devolved into licking your armpit.
