We are Balinese if you Plea-ease part 1

This was a place recommended by our Driver, and we absolutely loved it.

Rupuan Cili was the name - The view was incredibly breathtaking

Here's the name on a water bottle so we can remember it.
The food was delicious! We got a mix of western (mostly pizza and pasta) and local (some curry's etc).

Jace by the window.

You can carry anything on a Motorcycle. Just don't go down a narrow alleyway

Like this one. This was the street leading to our Villa, I couldn't believe how tight of space the van we rented could fit into.

Yes, our Villa was in the middle of nowhere.  Except by some roosters. Who liked to crow at 4,5,6 am. You name it, they would crow it. Also, lots of "pet" dogs (that were mostly just feral if you ask me).

After a religious day, these ladies are enjoying some food (rice +Plums) in the back of this truck we were following.

What! A lizzard by a Blizzard? Could our day be any luckier?

Dinner at Cafe Wayan, another amazing setting. This restaurant just kept on going (Ubud - off Monkey Forest Rd)

Beautiful blue sky's, beautiful Suzy's eyes.

We had a private setting at Cafe Wayan.

Brighton was feeling tired, so we made her a crib out of two of the chairs.

Here was the fish spa.

Here is how the fish spa always starts out. Insane Giggling before you get used to it.

Brighton eventually put her finger and then her hand is. She also squealed quite a bit.

Here was some kind of amazing building. No idea what it is used for or anything.

We saw ladies just walking along with stuff on their head. This was just one example, saw firewood, food, etc.

Here was a WEIRD "traditional dance" that we went to (it was more like a play, we were expecting a dance)

This was the Gamelan orchestra

The costuming was pretty incredible.

Here was a representation of the good spirit.

This may give you a bit of the flavor, it was quite unique.

This guy did great as a Monkey.

Without this, we would have been completely lost.

Here was a guy talking in Bahasi, which didn't help our confusion.

Here's a painting of the guy that was in the play.

I really liked Brighton's interpretation of this picture. I think she's going to be a great art critic when she grows up.

They had these statues at most if not all major intersections.
Here was another one

Here was a close up of the first one.

They had so much Statuary.

Having fun relaxing with Uncle Marshall (not so much relaxing for Uncle Marshall as he was the entertainment)

Another view of Rupuan Cili

Brighton and Papa at Cafe Wayan I believe.

Good memories! Thanks for sharing all the great photos and videos. Since I wasn't on the outing where they had the fish pedicures, I was especially glad to see that and hear the giggling.
P.S. I think the picture of Papa and Brighton in the swing was where we stopped to see the wooden statues (for sale inside) and where y'all bought the kite.
