Holland in 2016 - ASML trip 2

I had another trip to the Vendor we work with in ASML.When I got there on Sunday Morning, it was Cold and windy (sometimes rainy).

I hit a local church (they have one in Amsterdam). It was interesting, because i had to wear those headsets for translation. The Missionary doing the translated did a great job.
Typical Holland site, Tons of Bikes.
Water,Bikes and old Buildings. Amsterdam to a T
This was a cool restaurant we ate at with the Vendor on Thursday night (March 31st).  Called Kazerne (means Fire Station or Barracks in Dutch).  They had a ton of artwork displayed, very interesting. Can you guess what was in this display?
They had Pig Heats in them, each canister was a Pig heart that some kind of different process applied to it.
Don't know who thought Pig hearts were a great display idea, but hey, it was interesting at least. Maybe Pig hearts make the Dutch hungry.
I really liked this display, it was a bunch of metals that had been allowed to oxidize, showing what the end result of their natural color was.
Aluminum Oxide. Aluminum used to be super expensive until some chemist figured out how to separate out and purify.
I thought this was a cool color with lots of movement.
 Black, who knew!
Some more of the diplays in this restaurant, so many interesting things (by interesting I mean about 90% weird, and 10% nice).
This was one of the 6 different stations at the ASML cafeteria (Factory I went to). They had Healthy, Italian, Japanese, Sandwiches, ASML recipes, and of course, "Typical Dutch".
 Typical Amsterdam architecture.
 Proof I was actually here.
Delicious Dutch breakfast. The only food that the Dutch do well in my opinion. Dinner is mostly pickled stuff and sauerkraut, or bland food.  Most restaurants were Italian, French or Argentine.
 View from my hotel room.
This was in Veldhoven, typical Alley-way.
Lots of very interesting old churches floating around.

These kind of Cafe's were everywhere. Even though it was cold, many would sit outside. Mostly so they could Smoke I believe from observation.
Right outside the hotel walking around.

Looked mostly overcast from the pictures, but I'd bet it was an interesting visit. The pig's heart restaurant was indeed interesting. I liked seeing the architecture of the different buildings, too, my favorite being the church.
