So the Captain America cast was visiting the Marina Bay Sands hotel this weekend. We had plans to visit the ArtScience museum pictured here. Turns out it stops selling tickets at 6:00, we arrived at 6:01 and like any true Singaporean, there was Zero flexibility in relation to the rules. So instead we headed to dinner at Outback across the Helix bridge. There were a bunch of folks lined up for a purpose we knew not. We knew it was Captain America related because of some props, but we just through it was some kind of Movie preview.
Anyway, on the way to the carpark, we attempted the use the same Elevator we used on the way up. For some weird reason it didn't seem to be working. We took escalators down, then finally the stairs (we had the stroller so I lifted the front and Suzy from the back). We got there, opened the door, and there were a bunch of security folks who wouldn't let us in. After some protesting, some American guy let us through! It wasn't until I saw the headline that I realized who was probably going to be using that Elevator soon! We were only 2 degrees away from being famous!
Also, I bet you thought this story had a completely different and much more exciting ending. Ha! It sure didn't.
