Twirler and wet lilies.

We were talking about wet willies and swirlies.

Jace was pretty excited, and kept telling everyone that he loved "wet lilies" and that we should give Faith a "twirler".

Would you like some ketchup with that?

Here is a cool Mosque by Arab street. We went out to eat last Friday night, had some good Kebabs and shawarma.

Poor Faith, left with only a head.

This one looks tasty.

he came back as a super hero. Anime style

Brighton wanted in on the action but couldn't quite get her head all the way up. Also, she wouldn't let anyone help her either. Common theme at this age for her.

That Time When Suzy Gained her Super Powers.

This is a Tesla Coil. This was at the Singapore Science center, and is how Super heroes are born (or made, or whatever).

Some more New Zealand Pics

Here was a war canoe, pretty good sized. They get one of these from one tree, takes about 5 months to make.

Traditional Dances, notice the painted faces

The facial expressions really make the dance

see above comment

This guy was Suzy's favorite

Who knew that black swans existed in the wild!

Cows are hairier New Zealand. And weirder.

Suzy is cute. Wearing her Silver "Fin" (Fern, but pronounced Fin in NZ).

Some cool springs, super clear. It was about 5-15 ft deep depending.

The redwoods, imported from CA in the early 1900s.

Maybe the swans turn black because they swim in a black lake.

cool looking trees, but the sky was not blue.

Yes, this is common. Sheep are a main export of New Zealand. Reminds me of Ireland.

One night in Bangkok

This was part of the night tour, we found a few temples to look at.

The size and span of this complex of temples (I think this was called the Grand Palace or something like that) was incredible.

This may give you a sense of the overwhelming number of structures

View from our hotel room in Bangkok
You can see one of the Buddhist temples lit across the river

Who did what to who's hair when and how?

Here's Jace's Chinese outfit which he loves. He wore this to church on SG50 day.

This is not a Chinese outfit. Jace also had a Mohawk for a while.

I just wanted to throw this in the mix.

Kite Flying at Marina Barrage

On weekends, people flock to Marina Barrage to fly kites (it's right by one of their Reservoir, you have to take an elevator or stairs to get up here). Its usually pretty windy.

This was the Mechum's Farewell party. We sure miss them! We should be able see them when we head back to Boise.

Suzy and some friendlies.

Here's Bryan in his Boise State gear.

The view from here is amazing.

You can see the Singapore Flyer as well.
